Rising Lotus Kid Profile: Bibek
Name: Bibek
Age: 8
Bibek is the youngest boy at Rising Lotus and the smallest out of all the children. However, this doesn’t stop him from doing any of things that the other kids do. He is very smart. Volunteer visitor Metha Skylab was so surprised by Bibek’s ability to do long division that Metha made up some of his own problems for Bibek to do just to make sure he wasn’t cheating (not every day you see an 8-year old doing challenging long division).

That said, Bibek can get distracted very easily and miss answers to simple problems if we don’t keep a close eye on him and help him stay focused during homework time.

Bibek is also a bit on the naughty side. Our own little Dennis the Menace. He has crossed the other children on more than one occasion with his mischievous behavior. But it’s hard not to laugh at most of his antics. He’s ornery, but oh so VERY lovable.
