Back to school: The RLCV girls are back after the holidays!
Namaste friends and family,
Happy Thanksgiving weekend from our home to yours! We hope you were able to enjoy the long weekend with those you cherish most, enjoying a home cooked meal and taking the time to reflect on all there is in each of our lives in which to truly be thankful.
For our RLCV family, our greatest point of gratitude this weekend comes in welcoming our thirty girls back from their holidays, after a month away with their extended families. The girls had a few days to relax, spending their first evening back building puzzles from Snoopy to the Little Mermaid.
They have now gotten back into the swing of things, relaying their happiness to see their best friends, teachers, and their beloved “didi’s” - our incredible Rising Lotus staff. Didi translates literally to “big sister”. They also received their 2nd semester exam results with over 80% of our girls earning all As or Bs! We are so proud of them.
As a new season begins, we are excited to see our girls resume their studies, expanding their learning and deepening their bonds with those who care for them most. We are equally to connect with you in the 2nd iteration of the 2024 Holiday Penpal program - launching this Friday. Keep your eyes peeled!
