Nate Koehler
International Managing Director

Nate was introduced to Rising Lotus in 2015 when he began coaching co-counder Tracy's son Ternin's soccer team. Over the next four years, he fell in love with the organization and in October 2019, moved to Nepal for three months to join the team. Nate has always worked with children and prides himself on servant leadership, finding himself at home both with the flowers at RLCV and in Nepal. 

As International Operations Director, Nate oversees all donor relations, communications, publications website management, and legal filings. Nate recently completed his masters studies in the University of Leiden’s Governance of Sustainability program in The Hague, Netherlands. He had the privilege of spending two months at RLCV in Fall 2022 and will be pursuing his career in sustainable governance in Australia in the coming year. Nate was born and raised in Orlando, FL where he previously worked as a claims manager for a large insurance company while coaching competitive youth soccer in his spare time.
